Introductory essay for the second volume of Moomin was reprised with minor revisions:Moomin: The Complete Tove Jansson Comic Strip - Book Two, Drawn and Quarterly; Reprint edition.

“My Body, My Resource: Empowering the Essential in Contemporary Comics and Graphic Novels” , presentation at the 20th Annual Feminist & Women’s Studies Association Conference (of the UK and Ireland) annual conference.
Presented “Sagan’s Sybarites Adapted” as part of the Chick Lit: Women’s Writing on Screen session at the Association of Literature on Screen annual conference in Atlanta, Georgia.
Organized and chaired a panel titled The Architectonics of Costume, at the annual international Society for Cinema and Media Studies conference in Philadelphia, PA.
