In the meantime, across town, faculty scene designer P. Gibson Ralph designed scenery for Shipping Dock Theatre’s fall production of Kilt.

Department alumna and associate faculty member Maria Scipione has been directing for TYKES (Theatre Young Kids Enjoy), a new children’s theatre based in Rochester, co-founded by Brockport alumna Gina Donohue (nee Magnera).

Music faculty member Bill Hullfish has been playing regional engagements around Rochester (including Fourth of July in Brockport) with his Golden Eagle String Band.

 

Further afield, costume faculty member Gail Argetsinger (photo right), at the invitation of the Hill Cumorah Pageant, assembled a display of costumes she had created for the pageant over the years.

Department Chair Frank Kuhn directed Michael Frayn’s Noises Off  for the Creede Repertory Theatre in Colorado last summer.

Associate faculty member Michael Krickmire directed a production that became a finalist in the Samuel French Short Play Festival in New York City last July.

 

Professor Oh-Kon Cho recently had seven articles accepted for publication in the Encyclopedia of Asian Theatre.

 

Gary Musante has received a $3,000 Technology Initiative Grant from the College to install a new computer and software for sound design.
