Senior Steve Abgarian (Merrick, NY/Bellmore-JFK) is this week’s male athlete of the week after leading The College at Brockport Men’s Soccer team to a 2-0-1 week.
Abgarian scored five goals and finished with 10 points to tie two school records in the 7-0 season opening win over Cazenovia College. The senior netted the insurance goal in the 2-0 win over Nazareth and scored in the 83rd minute of play for a 1-1 tie with RIT.
The midfielder leads the team with seven goals in the first three games of the season.
