Shannon earns the honors after throwing 11 innings while allowing just one run in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Tournament over the weekend in Cortland. Shannon's victory in game one of the tournament over Fredonia tied the school's all-time record for victories with 18.
The Golden Eagles advanced to the ECAC Tournament and will face St. John Fisher College Friday afternoon at SUNY Fredonia.
