Baseball Announces All-SUNYAC Team
Team highlighted by three first-team selections for Brockport

Kris Gentzke named First Team All-SUNYAC(credit: Jerry Harris)

Jason Michaels (Geneva, NY/Geneva), Jamie Rose (Hornell, NY/Hornell) and Kris Gentzke (Clarence, NY/Clarence) were each First-Team selections to the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Conference teams, while Jason Shannon (North Syracuse, NY/Liverpool) was the lone Second-Team Selection.

Michaels was third on the team with a .327 batting average and led the team with 38 runs scored, stolen bases with 12 and hits with 51. He was tied for second on the team lead with 10 doubles.

Rose was a .299 hitter with seven doubles and five home runs for a .490 slugging average.

Gentzke hit .320 and led the Golden Eagles with 11 doubles.

Shannon tied the school record for career wins with 18 and led the team with six victories, 61 strikeouts and 73-1/3 innings pitched.
