Amanda Pickard Named Most Outstanding Athlete (12/06/2007)
Ashley Ianello Receives Outstanding Scholar-Athlete Award
Amanda Pickard scored four goals and assisted on four more in 2007
Junior Amanda Pickard (Depew, NY/Lancaster) was named SUNY Brockport Field Hockey's Most Outstanding Athlete for the 2007 season, while fellow junior Ashley Iannello (Verona, NY/Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) was recognized as this season’s Outstanding Scholar-Athlete.
Pickard was also named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-North Atlantic Region squad as a First-Team selection. The First-Team All-Region recognition was the first in SUNY Brockport field hockey history and was also the first Golden Eagle to earn State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Field Hockey Player of the Year.
