Senior Amanda Pickard (Depew, NY/Lancaster) was voted the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Co-Player of the Year and was a First-Team All-SUNYAC selection with teammates and fellow seniors Laura Reisdorf (Arcade, NY/Pioneeer) and Andrea Maslowski (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster). Sophomore Kelly Henry (Glen Head, NY/North Shore) was a Second-Team pick as a defender.

Pickard, who was the 2007 SUNYAC Player of the Year, shared the 2008 honor with Cortland’s Kayla Chambers. Pickard led the conference with 16 goals and 39 points. She currently holds Brockport records for goals, assists and points in a season, and is also the school record-holder for points and assists in a career. She is second in the school record book for career goals.

Reisdorf scored her first career goal in the season-opener and finished with five goals and two assists. Maslowski returned to the All-SUNYAC team after earning all-conference honors in 2005 and 2006. The senior defender scored two goals, handed out six assists and registered two defensive saves.

Henry came back from an early-season injury and scored nine goals for the Golden Eagles. Her four goals and eight points in the 8-4 victory over SUNY Oswego were both school records.
