Allyson Granish Scores in Field Hockey Win
Golden Eagles down Western New England, 2-1

Junior Kelly-Ann Henry (Glen Head, NY/North Shore) assisted on the Granish goal and freshman Jackie Massoni (Bay Shore, NY/Bay Shore) scored on a penalty corner midway through the second half to give the Golden Eagles (1-1) a 2-0 lead.
With just over 10 minutes to play in the second half, Western New England (0-2) scored to close the gap to 2-1 but Brockport’s defense and goalie Kasey Schreiner (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) held the slim lead to preserve the first victory of the season for the Golden Eagles. Schreiner finished with five saves in the Brockport cage.
