Sophomore Jen Wojdan (East Aurora, NY/Iroquis) scored her first goal of the season 17 minutes into the first half to give The College at Brockport field hockey team a 1-0 lead, but SUNY Geneseo tied the score three minutes later and scored late in the second half to a post a 2-1 win over the Golden Eagles Saturday in Brockport.

Wojdan converted Brockport’s only shot of the game on a centering pass from senior Allyson Granish (Binghamton, NY/Harpursville) but Geneseo used a 25-1 shots advantage to tie the game and eventually take the lead with eight minutes left on the clock.

Freshman goalie Kasey Schreiner (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) made 15 saves for Brockport.
