Kasey Schreiner makes nine saves in the Brockport goal
October 24, 2009
The College at Brockport Field Hockey team fell behind early and surrendered two second–half goals in a 3-0 loss to Houghton College Saturday in a non-conference game in Houghton.

Houghton (6-7) scored 14 minutes into the contest on a goal by senior Ashley Hoffman (Webster Thomas).

The score remained 1-0 for the remainder of the first half, but in the second half Brockport (2-13) surrendered the second goal of the contest with eight minutes elapsed in the half. Near the end of the game, Hoffman scored for the second time to give the Highlanders the 3-0 lead and the win.

Freshman goalie Kasey Schreiner (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) faced 29 shots and finished with nine saves for the Golden Eagles.
