Senior Jake Graci (Farnham, NY/Lake Shore) has been selected as the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) and the Southwest Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Offensive Player of the week after throwing for a school-record five touchdowns in the Golden Eagles’ 37-32 non-conference win over Frostburg State.

The victory is the second consecutive game that the Golden Eagles (2-0) have come from behind in the fourth quarter and gone ahead for the victory with less than a minute to play in the contest.

On the day, Graci completed 26-of-37 passes for 344 yards, including scoring strikes of 31, 23, 6, 19, and 3 yards apiece.

Trailing with just 1:43 remaining, he engineered the game-winning drive, completing all four pass attempts for 45 yards and rushing for a key first down to keep the drive alive. With 33 seconds left in the game, Graci threw his record-setting fifth touchdown pass. The previous school record for scoring passes was four, set twice in 1990 and once last year.

Graci currently ranks second in the NJAC in passer efficiency rating with a mark of 171.8.
