Bull and Carver Named NJAC Players of the Week
Bull Earns Defensive Honor and Carver Garners Special Teams Honor

Junior linebacker Nathan Bull (Brockport, NY/Brockport) and senior Cevon Carver (Bronx, NY/Dewitt Clinton) were honored with NJAC player of the week honors.

Bull earned NJAC defensive player of the week honors for the third time this season after collecting a team-high 14 tackles in the Golden Eagles’ road defeat at Western Connecticut. He notched nine solo stops, 1.5 tackles for a loss, and one sack for a loss of six in the contest. He also produced an interception and a forced fumble in the defeat. Bull currently leads the NJAC in tackles with an average of 12.6 per game.

Carver earned NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors after accounting for two scores in the Golden Eagles’ NJAC road defeat at Western Connecticut. Carver, who returned only two kickoffs on the day, took his first attempt 80 yards for a touchdown. He followed with a second attempt that he returned 90 yards for a second touchdown, finishing the contest with 170 total return yards on only two attempts. Carver currently leads the NJAC in kick return average (30.4).
