Cevon Carner Named to D3Football Team of the Week
Senior returned two kickoffs for touchdowns

Carver earned the honor after he returned two kickoffs for touchdowns in Brockport 45-44 loss to Western Connecticut State last Saturday. After the Colonials opened the game’s scoring with a field goal in the first quarter, Carver took the ensuing kickoff 80-yards to give Brockport the 7-3 lead. After the two teams went back and forth with scores, Carver gave Brockport a second quarter lead returning the kickoff 90-yards. Those were the only two kickoffs he returned on the day giving him a total of 170 yards. The senior leads the NJAC in kick return average (30.4).
Caver also earned NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week. In his career, Carver has four touchdowns on kickoff returns and an average of 26.3 yards on each return.
