Kaitlin Dewey Named RACA Athlete of the Week

Kaitlin Dewey (Saratoga, NY/Saratoga Springs) was named the Rochester Area College Athletics (RACA) Athlete of the Week.
The freshman won the balance beam with a 9.225 in her first competition in nearly two years after suffering an injury as a senior in high school and missing her first year at Brockport with another injury. Dewey finished with a 36.625 score in the all-around competition with a 9.225 on the bars, a 9.425 on the floor and an 8.750 on the vault.
Dewey helped lead the team to a season-opening victory over Ithaca College Saturday afternoon in Ithaca. The Golden Eagles posted a 183.300-182.850 victory over the Bombers.
