Gymnastics Sweeps Tri-Meet with Ursinus and Wilson

Sophomore Lauren Gildemeyer (Baldwinsville, NY/CW Baker) scored a 37.225 which included a 9.525 score on both the balance beam and floor exercise as The College at Brockport Gymnastics team downed both Ursinus College and Wilson College in a three-team meet Friday night at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.

Brockport (5-1) used five 9.0 or better scores in three different events for a team total of 184.100. Ursinus College scored a 183.400 and Wilson finished with a 126.500.

Gildemeyer was second on the beam and floor and finished fourth in the vault with a 9.450.

Freshman Kaitlin Dewey (Saratoga, NY/Saratoga Springs) tied for the top spot in the vault with a 9.6 score and was third on the floor and fourth on the beam for the Golden Eagles. Junior Christina Baggetta (Latham, NY/Shaker) was third on the balance beam and fourth on the uneven bars.
