Wilmington College '01 - Master's Degree: Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Program
Two-year member (1991-92) of the indoor and outdoor track and field teams and four-year (1990-93) field hockey player; 1992 NCAA Division III national champion in the 400-meter hurdles and a five-time All-American in track (400 meters and 55-meter hurdles indoors and 400 meters and 100-meter hurdles outdoors); one of only two women in school history to win an individual NCAA Championship; more All-American honors than any other Brockport female athlete; set 13 school records during track and field career, 12 of which still stand; Co-Female Athlete of the Year at Brockport in 1992; also was a standout on the field hockey team, scoring 10 goals and adding five assists in four seasons.
Named 1992-93 WVOR College Sportswoman of the Year for the Rochester area; SUNYAC All-Academic Team; Dean's List student five times, including perfect 4.0 GPAs in her final three semesters.
Interned at Johns Hopkins while finishing degree at Brockport; has been employed at Johns Hopkins since July 1995 as a registered clinical nurse in its 21-bed cardiac unit; was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau honor society while pursuing master's degree.

Served SUNY Brockport as athletic director (1990-95), head football coach (1986-94), assistant professor, coordinator of the sport management program (1984-90), and track and field coach (1984-85); led football team to first playoff appearance (1993) and holds record for football coaching wins (39); coached 22 football All-Americans; named 1985 SUNYAC Coach of the Year in track and field and coached two All-Americans.
Was responsible for the growth of the College's athletic program in the mid-1990s; was athletic director when Brockport won its last national championship (1992 in wrestling); oversaw improvements and upgrades to the athletic facilities and the addition of women's lacrosse as a varsity sport.
Has been the athletic director at his Alma Mater since leaving Brockport in the summer of 1995; currently serves on WCU's President's Council; president-elect of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and current President of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).

Four-year member of the wrestling team; led 1992 squad to its fifth NCAA Division III National Championship; won individual NCAA titles as a sophomore (1990) and senior (1992) in the 190-pound weight class and was national runner-up as a junior; three-time All-American (1990-91-92); 1990 New York State Champion (tournament encompasses all NCAA Division I, II, and III schools in state); four-time SUNYAC champion; 1991 West Virginia Open champion; school’s Male Athlete of the Year for 1992; combined record of 47-4 in two championship seasons and overall record of 84-20-1 with 22 pins in four years.
Assistant wrestling coach at Brockport (1993-95); floor operations manager and assistant director of the USA Wrestling Northeast Regionals at Brockport (1994 & 1995); has worked several USA Wrestling camps; director of the NYS Freestyle West State Qualifier for three years running (1999-2001).
Currently teaches physical education and coaches JV football and varsity wrestling at Palmyra-Macedon High School; 2001 Finger Lakes Central Division Coach of the Year for wrestling.

Two-year member of the track and field (1968-69) and cross country (1967-68) teams; set the New York State conference record in the 440-yard run with a time of :48.2 (which, converted to 400 meters, still stands as the school record today); also set school records in the 600-yard run and the mile relay; co-captain of the indoor and outdoor track teams as a senior; member of the 1968 SUNYAC cross country championship team.
Came to Brockport after completing two-year degree in math/science at Hudson Valley C.C.; continued racing after graduating from Brockport, competing with the Garden Town Track Club and the West Albany Striders; won the 1970 Adirondack Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) title in the 440-yard run; coached youth soccer, basketball, and girls’ softball; continues to compete in 10k races.
Investigates human exposure to hazardous waste sites, oil spills, and other areas of contamination as a public health specialist for the NYS Department of Health; hobbies include antique restoration and reproduction, early 19th-century period houses, gardening, and landscaping.

Four-year member of the volleyball team (1990-93) that won the SUNYAC title each season and appeared in the NCAA Division III tournament each year that she played; team was a combined 155-43 those four years and did not lose a regular-season conference match; All-American (second team) as a senior in 1993; All-State and All-Region in 1992 and 1993 and All-SUNYAC in 1993; still holds school records for career kills (1,208), total blocks (413), and block assists (352) and is second in career digs (1,117); numerous all-tournament and MVP awards; graduated cum laude from Brockport.
Holds two master’s degrees; worked as a graduate assistant at Miami (OH) for two years; also held positions at Miami within the Minority Professional Leadership Program and as a community/schools research assistant.
Currently works as a child abuse/neglect investigator for Hamilton County in Ohio; honored with the "We Serve" Outstanding Human Services Client Service Award in 1997.
