Shannon O�Keeffe Takes Home All-America Honors in the Triple Jump

Senior Shannon O�Keeffe (Boston, NY/Springville-Griffith) had her longest jump �- 11.62 meters (38�1��) -- on her second attempt of the competition and finished in eighth place to earn All-America honors Saturday at the NCAA Division III Championship meet at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana.

O�Keeffe finished with two successful jumps after faulting on her final three passes. She had qualified for the championships with a school-record 11.84 meter jump at the ECAC Championships last weekend and won the triple jump national championship last year with an 11.79-meter leap.
