Senior Shannon O’Keeffe (Boston, NY/Springville-Griffith) had her longest jump –- 11.62 meters (38’1˝”) -- on her second attempt of the competition and finished in eighth place to earn All-America honors Saturday at the NCAA Division III Championship meet at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana.

O’Keeffe finished with two successful jumps after faulting on her final three passes. She had qualified for the championships with a school-record 11.84 meter jump at the ECAC Championships last weekend and won the triple jump national championship last year with an 11.79-meter leap.
