Juniors Shannon O’Keeffe (Boston, NY/Springville-Griffith), Josh Dupuis (Tupper Lake, NY/Tupper Lake), Dom Gonzalez (Monroe, NY/Monroe-Woodbury), as well as freshman Amanda Elias (Belmont, NY/Genesee Valley), were all State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) First Team All-Conference selections, announced early this week.

Freshmen Andy Lockwood (Ithaca, NY/Lansing) and Ray Lund (Thiells, NY/North Rockland) were also recognized by the SUNYAC as Second Team All-Conference selections.

A first-team selection is an athlete that won an event at the SUNYAC Championships two weekends ago, while the second team selections are the runners-up in each event.

O’Keefe finished first in the triple jump with a leap of 11.64 meters and Elias took first place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:22.28. Dupuis was the top finisher in the shot put with a toss of 16.04 meters and teammate Lockwood finished second in the same event with a throw of 13.89 meters. Gonzalez won the weight throw with a toss of 16.60 meters and Lund finished second in the same event with a throw of 15.64 meters.

O’Keeffe, Dupuis, and Gonzalez have all provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships later this month in the triple jump, shot put, and weight throw, respectively.
