The College at Brockport Men’s Basketball team will take on Carnegie Mellon in the first round of the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament, which begins on Friday, March 6, at John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio. The game time is 8:00 pm.

In the other first-round matchup, John Carroll (23-4) will take on Medaille College (21-6). The two winners will then meet on Saturday.

The Golden Eagles (14-14) enter the NCAA Tournament on a seven-game winning streak after finishing the regular season with four consecutive wins and then earning three victories en route to the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Tournament Title and the automatic NCAA Tournament bid.

Carnegie Mellon (19-6) earned a trip to NCAAs with an at-large bid to the tournament after finishing third in the University Athletic Association (UAA). The Tartans finished the season with a 59-50 victory over the University of Rochester.

Brockport is led by senior guard Mychal Wilkes (Newark, NY/Newark), who is averaging a team-best 15.1 points per game. Wilkes was the lone Golden Eagle to earn All-SUNYAC honors, as he was announced as a first-team selection earlier this week.
