Mychal Wilkes Named First-Team All-SUNYAC
Wilkes is the lone Golden Eagle to earn All-Conference honors

Mychal Wilkes (Newark, NY/Newark) was named a First-Team All-Star by the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) as announced by the conference headquarters on Monday, March 2.

The senior guard averaged a team-best 15.1 points per game and shot 38.7 percent from three-point range. His 2.0 steals per game also led the Golden Eagles.

Wilkes averaged more than 20 points per game over the final seven games of the season - all Brockport wins - as the Golden Eagles won the SUNYAC Tournament and the automatic NCAA Tournament berth. Wilkes was named the SUNYAC Tournament MVP for his post-season efforts. He was the conference Player of the Week twice in the final two weeks of the year.
