Sophomore Matt Andon-McLane tied a school record with six goals and added an assist to lead The College at Brockport Men's Lacrosse team to a 12-6 victory over Medaille College Wednesday afternoon at Special Olympics Stadium in Brockport.

Andon-McLane tied a school record that is held by two other players, both of whom accomplished the feat in past games against Medaille. Josh Gordon netted six in 2002 and Pat Reilly matched that mark against the Mavericks in 2007.

Brockport (1-2) jumped out to a 2-1 lead with goals by Brian Loeffler (Islip, NY/Islip) and Mike Tammaro (Painted Post, NY/Corning West). Medaille (0-5) scored to narrow the gap to 2-1 but Andon-McLane sparked a nine-goal streak with five of his six goals to give the Golden Eagles a commanding 11-1 lead.

Medaille scored as time expired in the third quarter and outscored Brockport 4-1 in the fourth quarter as Andon-McLane scored his record-tying goal with 4:19 to play in the game.

Adam Drypolcher (Manlius, NY/Fayetteville-Manlius) scored three goals and Kyle Burton (Buffalo, NY/Amherst) added a goal for the Golden Eagles.
