Late Goal Gives Men's Lacrosse a Road Win
Adam Drypolcher scores the game-winner with 29 seconds left to play
April 1, 2009
Junior Adam Drypolcher (Manlius, NY/Fayetteville-Manlius) scored his second goal of the game with 29 seconds left in the fourth quarter to give The College at Brockport Men's Lacrosse team a 7-6 victory over Keuka College Wednesday in the final non-conference game of the season for the Golden Eagles.

Senior Joe Gomez (Amherst, NY/Amherst) scored with 15 seconds remaining in the first quarter after Keuka (1-5) had taken a 2-0 lead with goals at the 6:52 mark and with 44 seconds left in the quarter. After the second Keuka goal, Brockport won the ensuing face off and Gomez scored an unassisted goal to get Brockport (2-3) on the board.

Keuka went up 3-1 less than a minute into the second quarter but Brockport answered with three straight goals through the end of the second quarter and the entire third quarter to take a 4-3 lead heading into the fourth.

In the final quarter, Keuka pulled ahead 5-4 with a pair of TJ Radka goals in the first two minutes of the quarter. Sophomore Matt Andon-McLane (Syracuse, NY/Nottingham) tied the score with his second goal of the game two minutes later. With 10 minutes to play, Radka scored his fourth of the game to give the Storm a 6-5 lead.

Senior Brad Olzinski (Johnson City, NY/Union-Endicott) scored to tie the game again at 6-6 with 5:27 left in the game. Drypolcher picked up a loose ball after a Brockport shot and netted the game-winning goal with less than 30 seconds to play in the game.

Drypolcher and Andon-McLane each scored twice for Brockport while Gomez, Olzinski and Brian Loeffler (Islip, NY/Islip) each tallied one goal. Olzinski added the only assist of the game for the Golden Eagles. Garret Allwes (Amherst, NY/Amherst) made 11 saves for Brockport.
