The College at Brockport Men’s Soccer team saw its three-game win streak come to an end Saturday as SUNY Geneseo scored the only goal of the game with less than 12 minutes to play in a 1-0 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) loss in Geneseo.

Brockport (5-4-2 overall, 3-2 SUNYAC) had won each of its previous three games with shutout victories over SUNY Potsdam, SUNY New Paltz and SUNY Oneonta outscoring opponents 6-0 over that stretch. The Brockport shutout streak ended at 363 minutes, 18 seconds when SUNY Geneseo (7-3-1, 4-1) scored on a breakaway shot from within six yards.

Junior Joe Marino (Rochester, NY/McQuaid) made six saves for the Golden Eagles and kept Brockport in the game as the Golden Eagles were outshot 20-8 in the contest.
