19 Golden Eagles Named to Outdoor All-State Team (05/06/2008)
Men and Women both win New York State Titles
Shannon O'Keeffe earned four All-State honors at the New York State Championships
The College at Brockport Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field teams have placed 19 athletes on the New York State Championships All-State Team after both the men and women won the State Championships this past weekend in Rochester.
An athlete that finished in the top three in the individual events and the members of the first-place relay teams are all honored as All-State selections.
Junior Shannon O’Keeffe (Boston, NY/Springville-Griffith) earned four All-State honors by winning the triple jump, taking second in the 100-meter hurdles and finishing third in the long jump. O’Keeffe also ran a leg of the winning 4x400 relay team with senior Randi DeBoy (Salamanca, NY/Salamanca) and freshmen Christine Reamer (Ithaca, NY/Ithaca) and Amanda Elias (Belmont, NY/Genesee Valley).
