Outdoor Track & Field All-SUNYAC Team Announced
Six Named to First Team

Seniors Shannon O’Keeffe (Boston, NY/Springville-Griffith)and Dom Gonzalez (Monroe, NY/Monroe-Woodbury), junior Zach Williamson (Holland Patent, NY/Holland Patent), and sophomores Melissa Scorse (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford-Mendon), Rusty Landon (Ithaca, NY/Lansing) and Ray Lund (Thiells, NY/North Rockland) were all State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) First Team All-Conference selections, announced Wednesday.

For the women, sophomores Amanda Elias (Belmont, NY/Genesee Valley) and Stacey Gibbons (Eden, NY/Eden)and senior Nicole Sosnoski (Elmira, NY/Elmira-Southside) were Second Team All-SUNYAC selections.

A first-team selection is an athlete that won an event at the SUNYAC Championships, while the second team selections are the runners-up in each event.

O’Keeffe finished first in the triple jump with a facility-record 11.78 meters, which tied her NCAA provisional distance, and she also won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.74 seconds. Scorse took first place in the 100-meter dash and in the 200-meter dash. Gonzalez won the hammer throw, improving his NCAA-provisional distance with a throw of 180'5". Lund won the discus with a winning toss of 153'2" and Zach Williamson won the shot put with a heave 47'31/2". Landon won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.42 seconds.

Elias took second in the 800-meter dash, while Gibbons was the second-place finisher in the shot put. Also taking second for the women was Sosnoski in the long jump.
