ATHLETIC FACEBOOK SITE
- Mark R. and Susan H. went to the NCAA convention in Washington DC, talked about promoting the athletic department through Facebook
- Use the groups and invite to events features to get campus involved in athletic-related events and activities
- Teams should be thinking about using this more to get support from campus
- More research to come
- Possible Committee members: Mark R. and Stacey G.

SECTION V SPORTSMANSHIP SUMMIT (Thurs. 4/2)
- Schools throughout Section V invited to Tuttle to participate in workshops
- Three student-athletes and one administrator invited from each school
- Team-building games scheduled, keynote speaker Janet Judge will discuss social networking, lunch will be provided
- Student-athlete volunteers needed -- commitment from 8am-1pm
- Possible shifts from 8-10 and then 10-1
- 8-10 registration & games, 10-1 presentation facilitation, Q&A

BROCKPORT PINKZONE (Fri. 2/13)
- Pink Zone sponsored by Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), promotes breast cancer awareness
- Raffles and giveaways
- Ways to get tickets: wear pink, buy a pink shirt at the game, buy pink carnations, or just buy a ticket
- Purpose is to raise money for awareness

COMMITTEE BREAKDOWN
- Senior-Athlete Luncheon (Wed. 3/15): possible speakers - Laura R., Dom G., still looking for an alumni speaker
- National Student-Athlete Day (Mon. 4/6): first t-shirt design discussed, draw up plan at next meeting
- Sportsmanship Summit (Thurs. 4/2)
- Student-Athlete Celebration (Sat. 5/9)
- Max’s Mardi Gras
