- Jen Heim came and spoke to us about the “Up All Night” program

Must be a late night program, preferably Friday night from approx. 9pm to 1 am

The money can be used in any way

Applications are due Wednesday the 13 th by 5pm in the health center

- Updates Winter Sports:
*
Women’s basketball beat Cortland last night, are in good standings, and have 2 more home games on the 15 th and 16 th.
*
Ditto for the Men’s team.
*
Ice Hockey needs to win the next two games for a shot at the playoffs.
*
Gymnastics beat all division three teams in their meet over the weekend, and is headed to MIT this weekend.
*
Indoor Track had a few school records broken this weekend, along with multiple divisional qualifiers.
- We raised over $500 for Holiday Helping Hands
- Committee Work
Student-Athlete Picnic: Ideas include hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza and wings along with fruit and veggies, chips, drinks, pasta/mac salad and ice cream for food. Games included capture the flag, kickball, can jam, etc. 89.1 the Point has been contacted to provide music, and we are looking into getting an inflatable maze also. Plus, we discussed prizes for relay events like potato sack races, 3 legged races, water balloon toss, and egg on spoon balancing races, etc.
Student-Athlete T-Shirts: Designs suggested were a St. Patrick’s Day color (Hunter) green or yellow shirts, with a big eagle or an eagle breaking through a wall on the front, with the team names and possibly a quote on the back. We will vote on designs next meeting.
Senior Student-Athlete Luncheon: Discussed possible former athlete speakers. Guys: Kevin Collins, Steve Marriot or EJ McGuire. Girls: Jen Heim. Current former athlete speaker thoughts: Kim Schon.
Spring Semester Community Service: Ideas included planting trees for Arbor Day/Earth Day, car wash, relay for life, field day at Brockport Elementary, cookout @ softball/baseball double header with the money earned going to charity. Possibly doing something between innings involving kids – ex, racing Ellsworth around the bases for a prize.
- Reminder!!! If you were nominated by someone to join Who’s Who, the deadline to get your application in is by Friday at 5pm.
- Next Eagles Supporting Eagles is Men’s Basketball, Friday February 15 th at 8 pm, and the next SAAC meeting is Wednesday, February 20 th at 9pm.
