1. Guest Speaker: Alissa Chaney
   - 4 th Annual Relay for Life is April 26 th
   - All night fundraiser for the American Cancer Society
   - Goes from 6:00pm-6:00am
   - Go to website to sign up for a team or create your own
   - Fun night with a band, games, and free food
   - Also closer to the event we will need people to volunteer to help set up/tear down the event.
2. Winter Sports Recap
   - W. Basketball plays Geneseo on Saturday. Also are hosting SUNYAC tournament on Tuesday for being regular season champs.
   -M. Basketball has same story as women’s bball
   **The SUNYAC tournament games cost $2 per student to get in. BSG has 100 tickets to give away for free, so keep an eye out**
   -Ice Hockey is done, and ended with a more disappointing season then they had hoped for
   - Gymnastics won their tournament this past weekend
   - Swimming is done for the year, had a decent season
   - Indoor Track; men are ranked 10 th and women are rank 14 th in the country
3. Eagles Supporting Eagles
   Gymnastics: Sunday March 2 nd @ 1:00pm vs. MIT, Southern Connecticut and Ithaca
4. Vote on Budget
   Thursday, February 28, 2008 @ 9:45am Lin Case will be presenting the athletic budget for the 2008-2009 school year. Come to Union Room #220 to support her
5. Student Athlete Celebrations
   - Date has been changed to Saturday, May 10 th due to Mother’s Day
   - 1:00-3:30pm in the stadium (rain site will be the gyms/ice rink)
   - Instead of spending all the money on food, we will have just snacks (popcorn, cotton candy, sno cones, etc.)
   - Are working on renting the Iron man inflatable maze
6. Senior Athlete Luncheon
   - Wednesday April 9 th (scholar’s day)
   - Thoughts on anyone extra to be invited?
   - We still need a male Brockport Alum to speak
7. Newsletter
   - We are in progress of creating a Brockport athlete newsletter
   - It will be put out to all athletes, giving them athletic as well as SAAC updates once a month
   - Will be delivered via email sometime in the near future
8. D3 NCAA Update (Sue Hoffman)
   - There will be some changes in the division due to the increase in D3 schools
   - Possibility of now having a division IV or a division IIIA and IIIB
9. Student Athlete Day T-Shirt
   -A consensus was reached that the t-shirt would be shamrock green with yellow.
   - The front will have a large faded eagle in a sweater crossing his arms looking tough, and it will say Brockport vertically down the left. On the back it will read 2008 Student Athlete with the names of all the teams underneath.
10. Nominations
    - On student athlete day we will hear about the status of the nominations of Coach Murray, Coach Carron, and Lin Case.
11. Wheelchair Basketball
    - March 2 nd, 2008 from 4:30-7:30
    - 5 on 5
    - Minimum of 5 people on a team, maximum of 10
    - $25 fee to register
    - All money raised goes to support Camp Abilities

*Side note- Our college has now been upgrade to “The College at Brockport” as opposed to SUNY Brockport. This does not affect our standings in athletics. We will still be a part of the SUNYAC conference.*
