1. BSG Campaign
• Lindsey (treasurer)- Interested in bringing back more activities, including increasing school spirit
• “Take green and turn it into gold!”
• Bill (VP) – running with Kyle A.
• Can get CHAMPS/Life Skills points if you go vote!
• Want to bring back Screaming Eagles (sports fan club), and half time events
• Also interested in paying for playoff tickets for SUNYACS so students can go – bring back the green and gold school spirit!
2. Recap of Spring Sports

• Softball – 6-4 over spring break, late start this week due to weather
• Baseball – Phoenix AZ over break, went 4-5, play tomorrow @ Pitt-Bradford
• Women’s Lacrosse – 3-1, lost to William-Smith, next game Tuesday @ home vs. Buff State
• Men’s Lacrosse – 3-1, Virginia Beach over break – won today 10-5, next game Saturday @ Casanovia
• Track and field – Shannon O’Keefe National Champ in triple jump, and another third place on the team. Outdoor looks good.
• Wrestling – Bradshaw 4-time All-American
• Gymnastics – Got 2 nd at ECAC, Nationals tomorrow @ Cortland

3. Mandatory Diversity Training – Eva Vega

• Sunday March 30 th at 7pm
• In Union Ballroom
• Executive board (including officers elect) must be there at 6pm
• Student Athlete T-Shirts will be handed out

4. National Student Athlete Day

• Friday April 4 th – Wear student athlete t-shirt

5. Guest Speaker – Dave Bagley (ethics)

• Wednesday April 9 th at 8:30pm (SAAC meeting after)

6.Guest Speaker – Jeff Taylor (interviewing process)

• Wednesday April 23 rd at Alumni House

7. Community Service

• Arbor day, Friday April 25 th from 10-12pm
• Plant 20 trees – talk to teams, see if anyone is interested? Will discuss on Sunday

8. National Leadership Conference

• Laura and Q are representing Brockport

9. Senior Athlete Luncheon

• Seniors need to confirm their attendance
• Check list –Friday is the deadline!

10. Max’s Mardi Gras Parade

• Saturday April 26 th at 9:30 am
• Sign up if interested in walking in parade

11. Student Athlete Celebration

• DJ – Courtney T. will ask someone
• Sign up to work – each SAAC rep needs to sign up for a ½ hour block.

12. Chi Alpha Sigma (National Student-Athlete Honor Society)

• Seniors being inducted – cumulative GPA of a 3.4 or higher. See Traci after the meeting. Most athletes we’ve ever had this year!

13. Next SAAC Meeting/Event
