Brockport (16-3-1 overall, 7-1 SUNYAC) scored a run in the bottom of the seventh inning for a 3-2 victory in game one and the Golden Eagles scored eight times in the third inning in a 16-0 victory in five innings for the game two victory.

The Golden Eagles added three runs in the second inning and then pushed across eight runs in the third for a commanding 12-0 lead. The team added four runs in the fourth for the final score. Junior Kelly Briscoe (Stuyvestant, NY/Ichabod Crane) tossed the shutout victory with six strikeouts.
In game one, Geer struck out 15 batters, breaking the school record of 13 strikeouts in a game set in 2006 by Amanda Traylor against Oneonta and tied last year by Geer in a win over SUNYIT. Potsdam (6-8, 1-3) scored in the top of the first for an early 1-0 lead. Brockport took a 2-1 lead when Holly Ary (Craryville, NY/Taconic Hills) knocked in a pair of runs in the third inning before Potsdam tied the score in the top of the sixth.
In the bottom of the seventh, Potsdam retired the first two Brockport batters. Ona Halladay (Palmyra, NY/Our Lady of Mercy) doubled to left field and Lindsay Szymanski (Cheektowaga, NY/John F. Kennedy) singled to left to score pinch runner Becca Pringle (Sanborn, NY/Niagara-Wheatfield) with the game-winning run.
Maxon and Halladay each finished the day with five hits while Szymanski had three hits.
