Softball All-SUNYAC Team Announced
Szymanski, Halladay, Maxon, Boyle, Briscoe and Geer each named to the team

The College at Brockport Softball team landed six players on the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Conference Team. The six players on the team is the most in school history for any one season.

Lindsay Szymanski (Cheektowaga, NY/John F. Kennedy), Ona Halladay (Palmyra, NY/Our Lady of Mercy), Rachel Maxon (Kendall, NY/Kendall), Melissa Boyle (Staten Island, NY/Moore Catholic), Kelly Briscoe (Stuyvesant, NY/Ichabod Crane) and Stephanie Geer (Binghamton, NY/Seton Catholic) were all named to the All-SUNYAC team.

Szymanski led the team with a .408 batting average and a team-best 33 runs batted in.

Maxon led the team in several offensive categories including hits (53), runs scored (37) doubles (12) and home runs (7). She also broke school records in nine career statistical categories.

Halladay finished with a .369 average with 48 hits and scored 24 runs while knocking in 26 runners.

Boyle was tied for second on the team with three home runs.

Briscoe and Geer combined for 25 pitching wins and 235 strikeouts. Briscoe threw a perfect game, as well as a no-hitter and three one-hitters. Geer broke the school record for strikeouts in a game with 15 against Potsdam and then improved the record with 16 strikeouts against Oswego.
