The College at Brockport Softball team had five players named to the All-National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Northeast Regional Team. The first team was highlighted by senior catcher Lindsay Szymanski (Cheektowaga,NY/John F. Kennedy) and sophomore pitcher Stephanie Geer (Binghamton, NY/Seton Catholic).

Senior Rachel Maxon (Kendall, NY/Kendall) was a second-team selection while juniors Ona Halladay (Palmyra, NY/Our Lady of Mercy) and Kelly Briscoe (Stuyvesant,NY/Ichabod Crane) were named to the third team.

Szymanski led the team in batting average hitting .409 and in runs batted in with 33.

Geer finished the season with a team-best 14 wins to go along with 157 strikeouts in 143-2/3 innings pitched. She broke the school record for strikeouts in a game with 15 against Potsdam and then broke the record again with 16 strikeouts against Oswego. Her 1.09 strikeouts-per-inning-pitched was also a new school record.

Maxon set several career records at Brockport including games played, at-bats, hits, runs scored, runs batted in and doubles. Halladay was solid at third base and in the No. 3 position in the batting order. She was third on the team in hits, runs and RBI while leading the team with five stolen bases. Briscoe was 11-6 as a starting pitcher and tossed a perfect game, a no-hitter and three one-hitters on the year.

Brockport finished the season at 28-13-1 which was tied for second place on the all-time list for wins in a season. The 2002 and 2007 teams each won 29 contests in those years.
