BROCKPORT, NY – Kristopher Lincoln has been hired as the Assistant Sports Information Director at SUNY Brockport. He began his duties as the assistant to Sports Information Director, Kelly Vergin on Tuesday, August 1, 2006.

"We are very excited to have Kris return to Brockport," said Vergin. "He brings a wealth of experience and has a great knowledge of the local sports scene that will aid our efforts to promote the success of our athletes from the greater Rochester area."

Lincoln will be responsible for general office duties as well as share home event management duties for all 23 Golden Eagle varsity sports. He will assist in sending out press releases to local and regional media outlets and help update the athletics website.

The 2004 graduate of SUNY Brockport with a degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Management, returns to the Brockport campus after two years as a substitute teacher and junior varsity basketball coach at Holley High School. He also served as an assistant in the St. John Fisher College sports information office and has worked as a clinician at area basketball camps and clinics for the past two years.

A native of Interlaken, NY, Lincoln graduated from South Seneca High School where he was a three sports star for the Falcons.
