Four selected to play at ITA Regional Championships
Hemingway, Willeford, McLaughlin, and Keller choosen to play September 24, 2008
 Senior Lindsay Willeford enters ITA's as the tournament's #7 overall seed(credit: Michael Pratt, MLPhoto) Four members of The College at Brockport Tennis team have been invited to play in the 2008 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional Championships this weekend at William Smith College in Geneva. The ITA Championship will consist of both singles and doubles matches.
Representing the Golden Eagles will at this year's Championships will be Kristen Hemingway (Manlius, NY/Fayetteville-Manlius), Lindsay Willeford (Fairport, NY/Denison (TX)), Erin McLaughlin (Scotia, NY/Scotia-Glenville), and Katie Keller (Hamburg, NY/Frontier).
In singles play Kristen Hemingway will be playing Allie Burns from Skidmore College in her first-round match. Hemingway has won 15 consecutive singles matches and is currently 7-0 this season. Lindsay Willeford is taking on Natalie Jenereski from Ithaca College in her opening match. Lindsay has a 4-2 record on the year in singles play and will be entering the ITA Championship as the 7th overall seed in singles play. Erin McLaughlin will be playing Laura Brantley from Hamilton College in the first round. Erin is currently 4-2 this year in singles play. Katie Keller will be taking on Monica Caluncagin from Hunter College in her first round match up. Katie owns a 2-3 mark thus far in singles play.
In the doubles bracket, the pairing of Kristen Hemingway and Lindsay Willeford will be playing the team of Alyssa Jaffe and Devra Reiman from Ithaca College in a first-round matchup. Hemingway and Willeford are 4-2 on the year in doubles play. Brockport's other pairing of Katie Keller and Erin McLaughlin will be playing Jessica Faber and Sherrita Wilkins in the opening round of doubles competition.
The ITA Championships will be held on the William Smith campus on September 26-28, with play beginning at 8:30 am each day. Individual match times have yet to be determined.
