Schulte wins a match in Doubles and Singles

The Golden Eagles earned six points for their efforts. Kristen Hemingway (Manlius, NY/Fayetteville Manlius) and Dana Schulte (Batavia, NY/Bataiva) each won their first singles matches. Hemingway, competing at first singles, won her opener by blanking her opponent, 6-0, 6-0. Schulte, competing in the sixth singles bracket, won her first match by 6-2, 6-2 scores.
Schulte also teamed up with Chelseanna Fletcher (Brewerton, NY/ Paul V. Moore) at third doubles and the duo recorded a 6-3, 6-1 win in its first-round match.
