Women's Tennis Elimated Early from ITA Championships
McLaughlin, Richenberg and Broderick Compete for Brockport

Erin McLaughlin (Scotia, NY/Scotia-Glenville), Katelyn Richenberg (Stafford, NY/Batavia) and Kaitlyn Broderick (Bohemia, NY/Connetquot) of the women’s tennis team competed at the ITA Northeast Championships hosted by William Smith on Friday.
McLaughlin faced Deborah Barany of Hamilton who was ranked #11 in the singles bracket and fell 6-0, 6-2 before being eliminated by Veronica Efimenko of Hunter College 8-3.
Richenberg dropped straight sets of 6-0 to #9 Paige Aiello of The College of New Jersey and was eliminated in the consolation bracket by Kelli Williams of Richard Stockton 8-2.
Richenberg teamed up with Broderick for doubles action and lost an 8-2 decision to Alexa Wimes and Flora Lee of New York University. In the consolation bracket, they fell 8-2 to Shannon Murphy and Barry Edgar of St. Lawrence University.
Brockport will return to the court on Tuesday, September 29 when they host Elmira College at 4pm.
