Tennis Falls Short to Elmira
McLaughlin and Richenberg win singles and doubles

McMeneman lost the opening set, 6-4, before winning a 7-5 decision in the second set and then surrendered a 10-4 loss in the third set.
Brockport (2-9) won two of the three doubles matches to take the 2-1 lead heading into singles competition. Erin McLaughlin (Scotia, NY/Scotia-Glenville) and Katie Keller (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) won an 8-1 decision at third doubles and Katelyn Richenberg (Stafford, NY/Batavia) and Dana Schulte (Batavia, NY/Batavia) won 8-4 at second doubles.
The Golden Eagles led 4-3 with singles victories by Richenberg at No. 1, her first of the season, and McLaughlin at No. 2. Elmira evened the score at 4-4 as Keller fell at No. 4 singles, setting the stage for the deciding point at fifth singles.
