The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced on Tuesday that senior middle blocker Alyssa Fitchette (Watertown, NY/Watertown) is this week�s co-Player of the Week in volleyball.

Fitchette led the Golden Eagles to a 3-2 start on the 2009 season, including a 3-1 performance at the SUNYIT Invitational. On the week, Fitchette totaled 48 kills on 78 attempts for a .487 hit percentage. She also recorded 17 blocks and eight service aces.

This is the second time Fitchette has been honored by the SUNYAC as she previously earned recognition in September 2008.
