Women's Volleyball Hosts 'Kills for a Cure'
Make a Difference for Families of Children with Cancer October 12, 2009 On Tuesday October 13, 2009, The College at Brockport women’s volleyball team will be hosting RIT at 7 pm in a "Kills for a Cure" campaign.
Fans can either make a flat donation or make a pledge to sponsor an athlete, a team or both teams for the amount of kills they tally in the match.
All proceeds will go to CURE.
CURE Childhood Cancer Association is a nationally recognized innovator in peer support for families with children diagnosed with cancer or blood disorders. CURE encourages and assists children, young adults and their families in Rochester and the surrounding region to realistically face diagnosis, treatment, cope with their fears and believe in the possibility of life after cancer.
