Lexie Goodhart and Kath Villa Earn All-ECAC Honors
Sophomore and Junior add to the collection of post-season awards

Sophomore Lexie Goodhart (Syracuse, NY/Bishop Ludden) and junior Kath Villa (Albany, NY/Shaker) were each voted to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Upstate New York All-Conference team as announced by the conference after voting by the head coaches of the member institutions.

Goodhart led the Golden Eagles with 80 points on 44 goals and 36 assists and also earned All-SUNYAC honors for the second straight season. Villa was one of the top all-around players for Brockport with a team-leading 47 ground balls and 31 caused turnovers and also had 31 draw controls. She also scored 28 goals and had one assist.

The underclassmen led the Golden Eagles to a school-record 14 victories and the ECAC Upstate New York Tournament championship with a 21-9 victory over St. John Fisher College. Brockport finished the season with a 14-4 record. Three of the losses were each by a single goal and the fourth loss was a two-goal loss in overtime. Three of the four losses were to teams ranked in the final national top-20 poll. Brockport finished in the also receiving votes section of the final 2008 poll.
