Traci Lian Steps Down as Women's Lacrosse Coach
Six-year veteran accepts head coaching position at Nazareth College July 7, 2008 Traci Lian has decided to step down as the head coach of the Women's Lacrosse team at The College at Brockport after accepting a similar position at Nazareth College Monday.
Lian, who was hired as the head coach of the Brockport squad in 2003, compiled a 62-31 record in her six seasons including school records for wins in 2007 with 13 victories and again in 2008 with 14 wins and a championship victory in the ECAC Upstate New York Tournament.
Lian was also one of the coordinators of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and assisted in the coordination of the CHAMPS Lifeskills events in the athletic department. She was also in charge of the athletic ticket office and managed selected home events for the Golden Eagles.
Prior to Brockport, Liand served as the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) publicist and later was the assistant sports information director at Brockport. She also worked as an assistant coach with the field hockey team.
