Jess VanAllen Earns SUNYAC Weekly Honor

Senior Jessica VanAllen (Chatham, NY/Chatham) led the women�s soccer team to a 2-0 week and has been selected as the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women�s Soccer Player of the Week.

VanAllen assisted on the game-winner and scored an insurance goal late in the game as Brockport handed SUNY Oneonta its first conference loss of the season. The win is the Golden Eagles' first against the Red Dragons since 1998. The forward also had an assist in a 2-0 win over New Paltz a day earlier.

The two wins for Brockport (7-1-2 overall, 3-0-1 SUNYAC) extended its unbeaten streak to nine games and moved the Golden Eagles into sole possession of first place in the SUNYAC standings.

VanAllen leads the team with six goals and two assists on the season.
