With just 16 seconds remaining in the first half, Cortland (12-4-2 overall) scored as Bridgette DeSantis crossed the ball from the corner into the 18-yard box. After deflecting off a couple Golden Eagle defenders, Carly Williams struck the ball from the top of the 18 past a diving Erin Asquith (Arcade, NY/Pioneer) into the lower left corner of the goal.

Senior Rachel Murphy (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) took a direct kick that soared past the right upper corner.
