Two Wrestlers win Titles at Messiah Tournament

Eric VanPatten wins the 174-pound title at the Messiah Invitational

Senior Eric VanPatten (Scotia, NY/Scotia-Glenville) and sophomore Ryan Fallot (Amityville, NY/Kellenberg) each won individual titles at the Messiah College Petrofes Invitational Tournament Saturday to lead The College at Brockport Wrestling team.

Four additional wrestlers also placed in the tournament with Jabril Patterson (Syracuse, NY/Adirondack) and Josh Bloom (Manchester, NY/Geneva) each taking second place while Tom Voorhis (Chenango Forks, NY/Chenango Forks) finished third. Junior Shawn Hainey (Brentwood, NY/Brentwood) was a fourth-place finisher in the 125-pound weight class.
