Wrestling Wins 13th Straight John Summa Tournament
Four wrestlers win individual titles for the Golden Eagles

Sophomore John Chowske (South Glens Falls, NY/South Glens Falls), senior Josh Lancaster (Silver Creek, NY/Silver Creek), senior Eric VanPatten (Scotia, NY/Scotia-Glenville) and junior James Forsyth (Binghamton, NY/Harpursvilel) each took home the championship in the 285, 184, 174 and 149-pound weight classes, respectively, to lead The College at Brockport Wrestling team to a convincing victory in the John Summa Wrestling Tournament Saturday at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio. The tournament title is the 13th consecutive championship for Brockport.

Junior Shawn Hainey (Brentwood, NY/Brentwood), junior Josh Bellinger (Rock City Falls, NY/Ballston Spa), senior Donald Williams (Kendall, NY/Kendall), freshman Tom Voorhis (Chenango Forks, NY/Chenango Forks) all finished second for the Golden Eagles.

Brockport finished well ahead of second-place Waynesburg, outscoring them by 50 points. The Golden Eagles finished with 154 points followed Waynesburg with 104, Baldwin Wallace with 97.5, RIT with 84, Thiel College with 79 and SUNY Morrisville with 50.

Freshman Troy Cunningham (Ogdensburg, NY/Ogdensburg Free Academy) finished with the most pins in the least amount of time. He finished with three pins in 7:33.
