Jon Khoury Places 8th at the University Nationals
Freshman qualifies to train at the Olympic Training Center

Freshman Jon Khoury (Lido Beach, NY/Long Beach) earned an opportunity to train with the best at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado with an eighth place finish at the USA Wrestling/ASICS University National Championship Tournament at the Louis and Freda Stile Athletic Field House on the campus of the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.
Khoury lost an early match in the championship bracket and advanced to the seventh place match in the consolation bracket before dropping a close 3-0, 1-0 decision for his eighth place finish.
With the eighth place finish, Khoury earned the opportunity to train with Olympic hopefuls at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado.
