Senior Shaheim Bradshaw (Huntington, NY/Huntington) is just the fourth wrestler in Brockport school history to become a four-time All-American after finishing third in the 165-pound weight class at the NCAA Division III Wrestling Quarterfinals at the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, IA, on Friday and Saturday.

Bradshaw, the number-five seed, dropped a close 5-4 decision to Justin Bonitatas from the College of New Jersey in the first round. The senior then defeated Jason Wozniak from Wisconsin-LaCrosse by a 9-1 score to advance and then beat Patrick Nagel from Wisconsin-Whitewater by a 12-5 decision. Bradshaw then pinned Justin Hanson from Wartburg College. In his next match, the senior earned a 7-2 decision over number-one seed Tim Palmer from Wisconsin-LaCrosse to advance to the third/fourth place match. In the final match, Bradshaw scored a 7-5 decision over number-six seeded Ben Youel from North Central College to finish third.

Bradshaw earned All-American status for the fourth time in his illustrious career.

Eric VanPatten (Scotia, NY/Scotia-Glenville) defeated George Lynaugh from Augsburg College by a 4-2 decision in the 174-pound weight class in the first round to advance to the quarterfinals as the number-four seed. The junior then lost a 3-2 overtime decision to fifth-seeded Brandon MacWhinnie from Stevens Institute. He dropped into the consolation bracket and wrestled number-two seeded Eric Bath from Wisconsin-Stevens Point, but VanPatten was pinned to eliminate the junior from the NCAA Tournament.
