Three Athletes Named SUNY Chancellor's Award Winners (04/01/2008)
Rob Maxwell, Bryan Kent and Steve Seedhouse earn SUNY's highest honor
Bryan Kent is one of three Brockport athletes to earn the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence
Seniors Rob Maxwell (Amherst, NY/Sweet Home), Steve Seedhouse (Whitby, ONT) and Bryan Kent (Webster, NY/Webster-Thomas) were all honored with the 2008 Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence at a ceremony in Albany on Monday.
Maxwell is a pitcher and first baseman for The College at Brockport baseball team, Seedhouse is an assistant captain and forward for the ice hockey team, and Kent is a distance runner for the cross country team as well as the indoor and outdoor track & field teams.
SUNY Interim Chancellor Dr. John B. Clark today honored 275 college students from SUNY campuses throughout the state with the 2008 Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence.
