Cross Country Invitational races take place Saturday on the Brockport campus

The College at Brockport Men's and Women's Cross Country teams will host the 2008 Brockport Invitational starting at 11 am Saturday. The Golden Eagles will play host to five of the top 13 ranked teams in the Atlantic Region for this year's events.

SUNY Geneseo - currently the top-ranked women's team and the No. 2 ranked men's team in the region - is competing along with Hamilton College, University of Rochester, SUNY Fredonia, Buffalo State and New Paltz. Hamilton sports the No. 7 ranked men's squad, Brockport is currently ranked No. 8, Rochester is No. 9 and Fredonia is 11th in the regional rankings.

For the women, Brockport is fifth, Rochester seventh, Hamilton ninth and Fredonia 13th.
