Applying for New York State Tuition Status

Eligibility for New York state tuition status is based upon being a New York state resident. Requirements for establishing New York state residency vary for different individuals. Questions about New York State Tuition Status may be directed to Teresa Major, director of student accounts, in writing or by calling (585) 395-2473.

Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Office and its Student Aid Resource Center are available to assist you with any aspect of financing your college education. We can help you with services such as locating and applying for private, federal and state aid, and repayment of your loans after graduation. Student Charges

Although the Office of Student Accounts does not set rates for all student charges, staff can help answer many questions that students have about these charges. Please note that fees for tuition, room, meal plans, health insurance and other services are subject to change. The Office of Student Accounts will update fees on their Web site when a fee is changed.

Scholarship Office

 For all of The College at Brockport and local awards, including all our Extraordinary Academic Scholarships, we’ll automatically credit the appropriate amount to your bill. You’ll see it noted as a line-item deduction. The Scholarship Office has a number of resources online and in the office to help students find additional scholarships and grants for college. Please contact the Scholarship Office at (585) 395-5414 if you have any questions concerning awards received or if you would like assistance in locating other scholarship and grant opportunities.
